Every 30 minutes, someone in Wales is diagnosed with cancer. Cancer Research Wales is an independent Welsh charity dedicated to funding world-class cancer research for the benefit of people in Wales.

Unfortunately, cancer won’t stop for COVID, and this year many patients face delays to their diagnosis and treatment due to the pandemic. Cancer research is more important than ever before. Although many research projects have also been delayed due to the pandemic, we’re committed to funding research that will benefit cancer patients long after COVID-19 is gone.

Where there’s a whisk, there’s a way! Throughout August, we’re inviting our supporters to join us and bake a difference for cancer in Wales. Due to the current situation, this will be a virtual campaign, where we encourage supporters to host virtual gatherings to show off their bakes, snap and share on social media and make a donation to Cancer Research Wales.

It would be great if you could support the campaign. We are open to your ideas about how you could do this but some options would be:

  1.  1. Endorse the campaign on your social media account(s)
  2. A social media takeover or bake-along
  3. Recreate a recipe card for our fundraising pack
